MacBook And MackBook Pro

MackBooks are the latest products to be upgraded by Apple. In last couple of months Apple upgrades and lowers products cost quite often. Before MackBook and MackBook Pro upgrade, iPod Shuffle was cut down from $79 to only $49. In the same time, Apple introduced new iPod Shuffle with 2Gb.

New MackBooks now have the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors, bigger hard drives and 2GB of RAM standard (most models). MacBook Pro got some extra strength with NVIDIA graphics processors with 512MB of RAM and Multi-Touch trackpad. You probably remember the trackpad from MacBook Air.

MacBook

MacBook will now have a video camera and a power adapter that safely disconnects when under strain. That’s quite useful for preserving the life of your laptop computer. And your nerves, of course.

MacBook Pro versions will be a 2.6 GHz processor with 6MB of shared L2 cache, which will satisfy advanced users. If that’s not enough, then 4GB of 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM will close the deal. 300GB hard drive with NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics will make sure a hardcore gamer never complains about the capabilities of MacBook laptop computer. The most interesting thing for me is an illuminated keyboard that makes it ideal for dimly lit environments. Excellent when you’re using a laptop in a room where someone is sleeping so you can’t see the keyboards at all.

MacBook Pro

The prices are the sweetest thing about MacBook laptops right now. $1,099 is a startup price for a MacBook lineup, and there are three different models - processors, hard drives and maximum memory will be different, depending on the type of the MacBook.

Mind Controlled Gaming

The future is not here right now, but it will be available on next Christmas. And you will only need to spend $299 to grab that piece of future for yourself.

Emotiv EPOC is a little gadget that makes some incredible things to happen. These are the things we read about in Sci-Fi novels or see on Star Trek from time to time. But soon we won’t need to imagine how would some of those great yet-to-happen possibilities look like. In 10 months we will be able to feel and experience something extraordinary ourselves. We will be able to control the video game with our mind.

Next Christmas, Emotiv will launch a game that will be controlled with our thoughts, feelings and expressions. First, we will be able to control and move objects in the game, but later on there will be more options to use and experience in a video game. Emotiv EPOC will evolve in time, along with neuro-technology, and then video games could grow to be a really freaky type of entertainment.

Emotiv EPOC

How Emotiv EPOC Works

Set of sensors installed in EPOC are able to detect electric signals produced by our brain and detect our feelings and thoughts. Then those commands are sent via air to a console or PC. Headset will always remain on players head and the game can be controlled by player’s mind, there are no other controllers necessary.

Will this gadget work perfectly, it remains to be seen. But Emotiv made a step ahead towards more interesting video games and other types of entertainment.

Macbook Air Commercial Song

Of course, you already know everything about new Macbook Air. Super thin laptop with great features, one of them is being hardly visible due to it’s small size. It’s possible that some of Macbook Air owners will manage to lose it from time to time, it’s not hard to misplace such a book-a-like object.

Macbook Air

Yes, you see what I mean.

The thing that comes after the laptop itself is the new Macbook Air commercial, which is quite effective indeed. If you had a wish to do so, you could actually send this little miracle of technology by mail, in a regular envelope. It’s fascinating that such a powerful thing is so fragile, but that’s what often happens. Remember all those SF movies where the smallest objects are the most powerful ones. Best example is The Ring in LOTR.

Ok, here’s the commercial. It’s great and we love it. But human nature asks for more, of course, so now there’s a question: What’s the song in the commercial?

Many of you will be surprised to know that it’s a song by Israeli artist, named Yael Naim. The title of this relaxing song is “New Soul” and it really goes along with the style and looks of Macbook Air. If you enjoyed the song, jump to youtube.com and you’ll find more songs from the same artist.
