“Britney Law” For Celebrity Safety

Celebs February 14th, 2008

We all remember what happened to Princess Diana. And we all know what was the actual cause of that sad and unexpected car accident. Paparazzi who were after Princess Diana pushed way to far into her privacy, which proved fatal. But that wasn’t enough to show us that safety of anyone who is being stalked by paparazzi is in question. What finally burst that bubble is Britney Spears and her recent incidents.

The idea is that certain persons with celebrity status should not be approached by anyone within the distance of 20 yards. That raises some questions about right of the press to facilitate communication of information to the public. But on the other hand, that should be overruled by one simple idea – safety. And it’s not just the safety of a celebrity being stalked, but for all those involved in that manner – paparazzi and public.

Britney Spears

Occupation with celebrities, their business and private lives, created an explosion of tabloid shows, gossip stories, magazines which continues to grow in time. Along with that, the paparazzi profession grows as an industry which poisoned amateurs as well to join the ongoing trend.

If “Britney Law” is implemented, paparazzi will lose all their profits from photos being made within 20 yard distance from a celebrity. It will be interesting to see will this law pass. Also, there are some possibilities that celebrities will be able to obtain licenses for extra protection.

This is still a gray area and it all depends on the circumstances that will appear in fron of the court. We will have to wait and see.

Can You Enter Paris Hilton

Celebs January 26th, 2008

While I usually do not care about Ms Hilton and her activities, indoors as well as outdoors, I find this video to be very amusing.

Here you can see a side of Ms Hilton that you could not see before. While paparazzi are seeking scandals and news that sell, it’s perfectly understandable you will not see some other stories or sides of the same subject. Let’s see what’s the clip about.

More videos from the “Ares’s channel” channel at Heavy.com

Now, I know there will be lots of you who will say “It’s just another routine interview”, but let us levitate above that a bit. How many times did you have the opportunity to see this kind of clip from Ms Paris? Or have you ever seen this kind of clip being watched 10 times more then the clips where she is drunk or having a nip slip? No, of course not.

While I am not here to defend Ms Paris in any way, I want to say we all get drunk. But there’s nobody to tape it. And people don’t care about YOU getting drunk.

I wouldn’t rather see these kind of clips more often then the clips that you can find all over the web. And not just clips about Ms Hilton, but of every person who made something different, something that motivates and inspires. Or at least, makes me laugh.
